Die Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin) weist darauf hin, dass sie der „Aurum Investment Ltd.“ keine Erlaubnis gemäß § 32 Kreditwesengesetz (KWG) zum Betreiben von Bank- oder Finanzdienstleistungsgeschäften erteilt hat. Ein Unternehmen dieses Namens steht nicht unter der Aufsicht der BaFin.

Die BaFin hat jedoch Grund für die Annahme, dass das Unternehmen Finanzdienstleistungen erbringt, die einer Erlaubnis nach § 32 Abs. 1 KWG bedürfen.

Die „Aurum Investment Ltd.“ bietet auf ihrer Website Interessenten die Beratung und Unterstützung bei Investments sowie bei Anlagen in Finanzinstrumenten an. Die auf der Website im Impressum angegebene Adresse in Frankfurt am Main existiert nicht. Das Unternehmen hat auch sonst keine zustellungsfähige Adresse im Inland; die Kontaktaufnahme per Telefon oder Telefax ist mittlerweile nicht mehr möglich.

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin) warns that „Aurum Investment Ltd.“ does not hold a licence pursuant to the German Banking Act (Gesetz über das Kreditwesen – KWG) to conduct banking business or provide financial services. The company is not supervised by BaFin.

Based on the facts at hand, BaFin has reason to believe that „Aurum Investment Ltd.“ provides financial services which require a licence pursuant to section 32 (1) of the German Banking Act.

On its website Aurum „Investment Ltd.“ offers advisory services on investments and financial instruments.The Frankfurt address provided on the website does not exist. The company has no other address in Germany where postal delivery is possible. Contacting the company by telephone or by fax is no longer possible.
